Maybe. And then again maybe not. There’s no way of me knowing unless he lets it slip out again. But I’m gullible and stupid and I care too much about how others feels. I know that people think I should just break up with him; and I almost did; but I try so hard to see the good in people and try to believe that they can change. So I’m giving him this chance. Whether it all works out is up to him. He can choose to take this chance and work at it or he can squander it. This all rides on him. And I’m not asking for him to change within this week. I’m asking for him to prove that he’s able to. If this week works out, then we will keep going with this each week after. And if not, then it ends. Everyone deserves a redeeming chance. Or so I think.
